At-risk-of-poverty gap

In 2019, at-risk-of-poverty gab stood at 26 per cent. It means that median disposable income of persons living below the at-risk-of-poverty threshold was by 26 per cent lower than at-risk-of-poverty threshold. Compared to 2018, at-risk-of-poverty gab decreased by 2.2 percentage points. In 2019, at-risk-of poverty gab in urban and rural areas stood at 25.9 and 26.3 per cent respectively. In terms of age, the smallest at-risk-of-poverty gab was recorded in the group of persons aged 65 and older (20.5 per cent); compared to the previous year, it increased by 1.1 percentage points.
