In 2019, 1,004 enterprises carried financial and insurance activities in our country. 20,118 persons were employed in such enterprises. Over the year, the number of these enterprises increased by 9.0 per cent, the number of the employed – 11.3 per cent. The value added (at factor cost) generated by financial enterprises amounted to EUR 1.5 billion, or by EUR 369 million (32.5 per cent) more than in 2019.
