In 2020, gross agricultural production at current prices in agricultural companies and enterprises totalled EUR 811.4 million. Animal production amounted to EUR 440.9 million and, compared to 2019, increased by 2.9 per cent. Crop production totalled EUR 370.5 million (by 24.5 per cent more than in 2019). The increase in crop production was due to a more abundant harvest of agricultural crops and increased producer prices of agricultural products.

In 2020, sales income of agricultural companies (enterprises) totalled EUR 1.2 billion and, against 2019, decreased by 6.3 per cent. Other (atypical) activity income increased by 24.5 per cent and amounted to EUR 76.3 million.

In 2020, gross profit of agricultural companies (enterprises) amounted to EUR 121.3 million and, compared to 2019, decreased by 5.9 per cent. Profit (loss) before tax totalled EUR 4.9 million.

In 2020, compared to 2019, selling costs of agricultural companies (enterprises) decreased by 6.4 per cent and totalled EUR 1.1 billion. In 2020, other (atypical) activity costs amounted to EUR 38.8 million.
