More operative statistical information on earnings in the whole economy by sectors is published. Statistical information is prepared on the basis of administrative sources – data from the State Social Insurance Fund Board under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania database and data from the Statistical Register of Economic Entities.
In the process of statistical indicators preparation, enterprises (excluding individual enterprises) irrespective of ownership form thereof, engaged in economic activities from A to S (according EVRK Rev. 2) and having 1 and more employees, are assessed. In the calculation of the average monthly earnings, duration of the employees' working time is assessed according to the standard working hours set by the legislation.
